Child development experts often say that parents are the first educators. And, if parents decide to educate their children, traditionally, or devote a significant proportion of their time, effort and resources for Homeschool children, the simple truth is that parents can, should and should not begin to educate their children long before entering a type of education formal.
Many parents, especially new parents and school, afraid to "push" a child in reading before being "ready". However, reading is simply a visual representation of the word. And, as we teach our children to speak and the right words to objects and people, we can start early to teach our children how letters (eg, symbols) represent certain sounds and letters when you combine these symbols that form words. This process of physical education is less "push" language acquisition is easy. Some educators and experts refer to this pre-reading process.
Pre-reading leads to reading success
Pre-reading activities start early and most parents are not even aware that prepare their young children to read. Parents can sing the alphabet song to help a fussy baby to sleep. A child's room or playroom can be an edge ABC scalloped. Vibrant letter magnets could decorate the refrigerator allowing parents and children to form words. These (apparently) are unusual activities that prepare children learn to read.
Pre-reading is really exposing children to both spoken and written language. Parents can set their children to succeed without force, ensuring they have maximum exposure to these activities. Technology has even given the children a new opportunity to quickly learn the name of syllabic writing. Syllable, which focuses on the sounds of all letters or phonetics, which deals mainly with the sounds associated with consonants, can be easily learned computer programs available for preschoolers.
Pre-reading games, and conversation
Even before children learn to talk, parents, naturally, to develop verbal communication. How many times we've all seen parents who talk with their children while their dress? The parent can say something like "Here's your pretty pink dress!" or "Do you want the red shirt or green?" The parents speak often with their children long before children can hold their own end of the conversation are almost furtively, to teach their children preschool reading.
Another way of Young children learn pre-reading skills is through exposure to well known principles of the Board book reader. Parents who limit the amount that speak to their Very young children may have noticed that these children are "delay speakers.
Children learn quickly and naturally, given the chance. And while parents may be reluctant to push their children in learning, they also must understand that it is their responsibility to give their children the tools they need pre developing good reading. Providing children with fun and interesting ways to develop language skills is very different to require a minimum number of hours of formal instruction in reading readiness of children. A scenario is important to focus on learning fun. The second could be longer the lines of "Push" whose parents are trying to avoid. Know the difference between the two could open the way for success in reading.
